AGFC private land programs offer free help for landowners

LITTLE ROCK – Looking for help managing your deer lease to the best of its ability? Want some advice on bringing back northern bobwhite to your property or increasing its value to waterfowl? The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission employs biologists that are ready to help you and do it for free.

The AGFC Private Lands Program is available to visit private holdings and offer advice on how to best manage the property to fit the landowners’ goals. Not only will Private Lands Biologists tell you the best methods for improving the wildlife habitat on your property, they can help you find possible federal grant dollars available to implement those recommendations.

Here’s a short video about a success story in the Arkansas Delta for waterfowl – http://youtu.be/XnqiEAjT_O8
